Energy Exchange seminar begins
The Earth and Mineral Sciences (EMS) Energy Institute Energy Exchange Seminar Series begins on Sept. 4. Tom Richard, director, Penn State Institutes of Energy and the Environment, will give a talk titled "Diet, Land Use and the Biofuel Nexus." The seminar will discuss the role of diet on land requirements for food production. Results from this study suggest a potentially large reduction in food-land requirements for the U.S. that could translate into a large biofuel supply. For dates and speaker information.
