The function of this position is to manage and maintain the installation-wide GIS database program for engineering, which allows for efficient, economical decisions to be made for near and long term decisions in regards to real property, projects and Pennsylvania Army National Guard (PAARNG) positioning.
Bachelor’s degree in a physical, biological, or natural resource science, resource management, resource planning, engineering, or a related field required.
Three years of professional experience in the protection, development and maintenance of land, water or natural resources. Relevant geospatial course work.
Maintain a working knowledge of planning and programming, and master planning areas by reading journals, attending classes and seminars and conferring with other staff members in order to accurately depict these in a spatial manner.
