About the Position:  The full stack software developer will take a key role on our team. Our full stack developer must have knowledge in all stages of software development and working alongside project managers, graphic designers and other technical staff collaborating on the architecture for various client-facing applications.  This person would lead the development and deployment of custom environmental applications for project teams and clients.


Minimum Qualifications: 

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Web Development or related discipline
At least 5 years’ experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience configuring and securing cloud-based architectures
Relational database experience such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Experience with object-oriented programing (C# on .NET frameworks).
Experience with software development collaboration tools (Github, JIRA, Trello)
Experience with geospatial software development using ESRI and open source stacks
Previous experience in professional services or consulting industry preferred

Preferred Qualifications:


Experience with large environmental tracking systems and integration projects
Experienced designing and developing web, distributed, and mobile processing solutions
Experience authoring, configuring, and troubleshooting web & geospatial services
Experience building custom solutions using SDKs, APIs and code libraries (ESRI JavaScript, Leaflet, Mapbox)
Working knowledge of Python, and other data automation tools a plus

Innovative thinking to solve problems in new ways
Ability to translate business requirements to a proposed technical solution
Ability to interpret and preprocess complex environmental data for further analysis and display
Desire and interest in picking up and applying new technologies
Business Processes

Strong organizational and collaboration skills
Ability to execute all phases of application delivery (design/build/test/release)
Manage activities to the agreed upon project scope, schedule and budget
Experience with Agile Scrum and / or Kanban methodologies a plus
Experienced creating and delivering technical documentation
Ability to juggle internal ESA facing solutions as well as external client deliverables.
Strong, proactive communication skills keeping teams and clients informed on a regular basis.
