Defence Geospatial Intelligence (DGI) is Europe’s largest annual conference dedicated to the major challenges of the defense and government geospatial intelligence community. We have participated in the conference for many years and found it a remarkable opportunity to interact with the European community and our NATO and Five Eyes (FVEY) partners. DGI 2021 will be held virtually in February 2021 because of the pandemic. The virtual format offered the opportunity for Penn State graduate students to present research in topics related to geospatial intelligence. Current plans allow for a limited number of 10-minutes presentations followed by questions from the audience. We encourage Penn State students to submit their capstone project or a topic they would like to present to Dr. Michael Thomas (firstname.lastname@example.org), Dr. Greg Thomas (email@example.com), or Dr. Todd Bacastow (firstname.lastname@example.org) for consideration by November 30, 2020.
